Aries, the Ram

The ram has always been courageous and enterprising, able to bound over obstacles and rocky terrain.

The story begins in ancient Greece whereas a king named Athamus has ruled the province of Boetia. he married a woman Nephele and had two beautiful children; a son and daughter Phrixus and Helle.

After awhile, Athamus tired of Nephele and deserted her. He later married a woman Ino and a woman who is very jealous of his two other children. They also had two children of their own, two sons. But Ino wanted to plot his other children’s deaths and so it was done because the King wanted to save his people unless his children was sacrificed.
